Meetu Sharma, hailing from the Naultha village in Haryana’s Panipat district, had a passion for Kabaddi from a young age. Guided by his coach Sonu Jaglan, he honed his Kabaddi skills over time. Meetu’s dedication led him to participate in various tournaments, earning recognition for his talent.

His achievements included being selected for the U-14 National School Games in Madhya Pradesh, where he showcased his Kabaddi prowess. Notably, he also stood out as the second-best raider in the All India Men Kabaddi Championship. 

Meetu Sharma’s Pro Kabaddi League Journey 

As an Indian Kabaddi player, Meetu Sharma’s Pro Kabaddi League journey began in the eighth season. Taking on the role of a raider, he played 16 matches and contributed 75 points to his team’s success. With a raid strike rate of 39%, Meetu showcased his raiding skills on the Kabaddi mat.

In the following season, he continued his association with the Haryana Steelers. Across 20 matches, Meetu Sharma’s determined efforts earned him an impressive tally of 137 points, with a raid strike rate of 42%. Meetu’s consistent performance has marked him as a promising Kabaddi player, adding to the excitement of the league.
