Born on April 5, 1993, in Sonipat, Haryana, Sandeep Narwal hails from a region that has produced numerous kabaddi talents. Kabaddi is a popular sport in his hometown, played by people every day.  

Sandeep’s father, a former Kabaddi player who represented India at the international level, had a significant influence on him. Learning the basics of Kabaddi from his father, Sandeep found the sport to be a natural choice for his career. 

Starting at a young age, Sandeep quickly embraced Kabaddi. He began playing in school and then progressed to the district level. Guided by the right mentorship and motivated by his passion, Sandeep emerged as a shining star in the world of Kabaddi. He pursued his studies at Jat College in Sonipat, further nurturing his skills and aspirations.

Sandeep Narwal Kabaddi Journey 

Sandeep Narwal, a prominent figure in Kabaddi, began his journey in the first season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). Starting as a raider, Sandeep gradually honed his skills as a defender, evolving into a seasoned all-rounder within the league. 

Season 1 

In his debut season, Sandeep played 16 matches and showcased his prowess, earning an impressive 119 points. His raid strike rate stood at 53%, and his tackle strike rate at 66%, highlighting his versatility on the mat. 

Consistency in Seasons 2 and 3 

Continuing his Kabaddi adventure, Sandeep contributed to the Patna Pirates’ side during seasons 2 and 3, maintaining his performance as an all-rounder, showcasing his well-rounded skills. 

Puneri Paltan Stints in Seasons 5 and 6 

Moving forward, Sandeep found himself with the Puneri Paltan in the fifth and sixth seasons. During the fifth season, he played 21 matches and earned 85 points, with a tackle strike rate of 51%. 

 His dedication continued into the sixth season, where he was retained by the Puneri Paltan. Sandeep participated in 18 matches, securing 66 points, further solidifying his reputation as a valuable player within the league.
