Vikash Kandola’s Early Life

Vikash Kandola was born in the small Jind district of Haryana. Since a very young age, he has had a keen interest in Kabaddi. He started playing at a very young age. He was exposed to the Haryana Kabaddi life of tournaments and matches. In his early age, he developed a fascination for the sport, and he emerged as the finest player of Kabaddi. 

Vikash as Emerging in the Local Circuits

He started playing at the very tender age of 9. He participated in district and village-level tournaments. Soon, he caught the attention of the coaches and organisers. His raiding skills astonished the viewers. He became recognised as the rising star of the Kabaddi in Haryana’s circles. 

Vikash Kandola Pro Kabaddi League

He gained recognition after representing his state, Haryana, in the national tournament. He was noticed by the coaches of the Dabang Delhi. He made his debut in season 4 of the Pro Kabaddi League with Dabang Delhi. Unfortunately, he was unable to leave a mark in that season. However, in the coming season, he performed exceptionally well and showcased his raiding skills. 

Vikash Kandola’s Performance in the Pro Kabaddi League

In 2005, he was bought up by the Haryana Steelers. He played nine matches, in which he earned a total of 58 points. His average raid strike rate was 46.2%  throughout the Pro Kabaddi League seasons. He was among one of the most expansive players of season 9 of the league for a hefty sum of 1.7 million. 

Awards and Achievement

  • He was the highest point scorer for the Haryana Steelers in season 6 of the PKL. 
  • He earned the highest bonus points in season 6 of the PKL. 
  • He is one of the best raiders in the PKL.
